Here at Reading Passport HQ, we’ve always been firm believers that reading is a passport to new places and different lives and this year, we’re excited to announce that we have been given the opportunity to read further than ever before… all the way to outer space to be precise…
Thanks to Literature Works’ science fiction and science fact exploration project, One Giant Read, those of you with reading passports (which can be picked up in any South West library) are invited to participate in a competition which seeks to find the very best sci-fi reviews in 140 characters or less.
Run exclusively on our Twitter pages, this is your chance to review your favourite sci-fi as featured in the passport and on the further reading lists. Have you read Douglas Adam’s Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series? Are you a fan of Philip K Dick? Tell us about them in your review for your chance to win book prizes.
How it works:
To participate in this out-of-this-world competition follow @readingpassport and @OneGiantRead and tweet us your review using #readingpassport
The competition runs for 6 weeks from 17th October to 29th November 2016. The winner of each week will be selected on the Friday of each week and contacted via Twitter.
This is a great opportunity to explore the sci-fi genre, collect stamps for your passport and win book prizes.
